GEN SCHOLARS
One of the challenges for the students of The Light School is being able to continue their education at secondary school. GEN is committed to keeping these students in school by providing them with four years of secondary school tuition. GEN sponsors graduating students from The Light School based on need and merit.
Now in its fifth year, the GEN Scholars Program has sent seven students from The Light School through secondary school and now on to university.
"I want to say thanks to GEN for enabling me to attend school this year. I have learned alot and I am so grateful. I want to be among the best and make you and GEN proud of me and I also want to be the first one in our family to go to university. In school we get the opportunity to meet students from all over the country and I learned that I should never take the chance you gave me for granted. Thank you."
